Hardcover Foundation aims to provide a website that is accessible to as many visitors as possible, including people who use assistive technology. This page describes the approach taken in building this site and how to report a problem.

Our target

Hardcover Foundation aims to provide an accessible website and is working toward alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA practices. This is an aspirational goal, not a claim of compliance, certification, or a completed third-party audit, and it is not a guarantee that the website is accessible to every visitor or assistive technology.

We continue to review the website's structure, navigation, contrast, responsive behavior, keyboard access, and content presentation as the site develops.

Current measures

Measures already built into this site include:

• visible focus indicators on links and other interactive elements

• readable text and background color contrast
• descriptive link text rather than generic phrases like "click here"
• support for visitors who have requested reduced motion in their operating system
• text alternatives for meaningful images
